Share Location on iphone

  Share My location can be turned on to share your location with your friends, family, contacts, and from your iPhone or iPad with Find My. If you own an Apple Watch that is compatible with your iPhone and has GPS or cellular, you can share your location with the Find People App on watchOS 6.
If you already have Family Sharing set up and used Location Sharing, your family members automatically show in Find My.

You can also use Messages to share where you are located.
Share with people

Open the Find My application and select the People tab.
Choose to Share My Location, or Start Sharing Location.
Enter the phone number or name of the person you want your location to be shared with.
Select Send.
You can share your location for one hour, up until the end of the day, or you can share indefinitely.
Select OK.

When you share your address with someone, they can choose to share theirs back.
Name your location

You can name any places that you often visit if you like:

Open the Find My application, then select "Me".
Scroll down, and click Edit Location Name.
Select from Work, School, Home, Gym, or Other.

You can also choose Add Custom Label and create your own name to represent your location. Simply type a name and hit the "Done" button.
